Who we are

GradeUp Market Brief (brief.gradeupnow.in) is an email newsletter run by Debasis Maity, the operator of gradeupnow.in. Contact and grievance officer: Debasis Maity, brief@gradeupnow.in.

What we collect

• From Google sign-in: your Google account ID, name and email address. Nothing else from your Google account.
• Your selections: the stocks and mutual funds you pick, and your email preferences (which editions, and when).
• Records we keep to run the service: your invite-code redemption, the emails we sent you and whether they were delivered.

We do not collect your broker or demat details, portfolio, holdings, quantities, transactions, PAN or bank details.

Why we use it

• To sign you in and keep you signed in.
• To build and email you a market brief for the instruments you picked.
• To manage your beta access and contact you about the service.

We use it for nothing else. We do not sell, rent or share your data for advertising.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored in an Oracle Cloud database in the Canada Southeast (Toronto) region and processed on a server in the same region. Service providers that handle it on our behalf: Oracle Cloud (hosting and database), Google (sign-in) and Oracle Cloud Email Delivery (sending the brief). News and AI-summary providers receive only public news text about listed companies, never your personal data.

Cookies

We use one cookie, a session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. No tracking or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

While your account is active. If you unsubscribe, we keep your account and selections for 30 days in case it was a mistake, then delete them on request or when the account is closed.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing brief@gradeupnow.in. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in. We reply to requests and grievances within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and tell active subscribers by email.
